How NailWiki reviews documents and claims
Help nail professionals understand the reasoning behind their everyday choices: materials, techniques, equipment and the limits of available evidence. The library separates source-based explanations, manufacturer claims and commercial resources.
What these reviews assess
Current review articles are documentary analyses. They assess public product information, databases and guidance. They do not include our own hands-on performance measurements, product rankings or an independent specialist’s verdict.
Document review method
Identify the document, publisher, version and date. Define the question being assessed, read the relevant passages and distinguish explicit statements from interpretation. Record missing test conditions and avoid extending evidence beyond the system, sample or circumstances actually described.
Sources and evidence
Primary sources are preferred where available: original research, official guidance, public databases and manufacturer documentation. Manufacturer descriptions establish what a brand claims, not independent proof of efficacy, safety or compatibility. Dates and the scope of the available evidence matter.
Specialist review status
